The Malawi Global Fund Coordinating Committee (MGFCC) is the Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) established by the Government of Malawi in November 2001 in response to the requirements and recommendations of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (“Global Fund”) to oversee the effective investment of Global Fund resources for the health and well-being of Malawians.
To mobilize resources from the Global Fund through development and submission of funding requests, and oversee and provide support to the implementation of Global Fund grants for the achievement of maximum health outcomes for Malawians.
The MGFCC is an inclusive, multi-stakeholder organization with respresentation from the government, civil society and development partners organized into committees.
The Executive Committee is composed of the CCM Chair, the CCM Vice-Chairs, the Chair of the Oversight Committee and the Chair of the Resource Mobilisation Committe.

The Resource Mobilization Committee is a technical committee of the Malawi Global Fund Coordinating Committee with no decision-making powers. It makes recommendations to the MGFCC, which in turn makes decisions by consensus.
